Shiplogic, the end-to-end logistics Software as a Service (SaaS) platform behind some of South Africa’s most-loved couriers, has officially separated from Bob Group. This strategic move enables each company to double down on its core strengths and pursue new growth opportunities with greater clarity.
Originally incubated within Bob Group, Shiplogic was created to address the need for modern, scalable courier technology. From map-based automation to real-time tracking, its platform has raised the bar for logistics software in South Africa. Today, Shiplogic supports prominent couriers, including the likes of The Courier Guy and Internet Express, and has evolved into a mature, independent business.
The separation enables Shiplogic to focus entirely on advancing its technology and delivering deeper, independent support for courier companies. Meanwhile, for Bob Group, this unbundling enables a renewed focus on its core e-commerce ecosystem, including Bob Shop, Bob Pay, Bob Go, and Bob Box, offering an all-in-one platform for selling, shipping, and getting paid online.
